What is a Green Destination?

Green destination is a concept that adopts sustainable tourism principles and increases the quality and attractiveness of a destination. These destinations protect natural values, support local culture and traditions, offer environmentally friendly approaches and target responsible tourists.

With the SENTRUM project we carried out in Küçükköy; we have implemented a green destination model where cultural and natural values are protected, energy efficiency is ensured, renewable energy applications are made, and tourism is spread to all four seasons, increasing the welfare of the local people.
